The staff are great. Atmosphere is fantastic for watching sports or just having a quiet pint with friends. Pub grub is also super tasty.
Far better than before when it was owned by the same family as the lighthouse just up the street. Staff are friendly enough and beer on tap is nice selection. Best seats however usually taken by the regulars so not much luck getting a table near bar. Food however is ... mediocre, "the Jordy chip" nice fat chips well cooked swimming in what seemed to be mushroom soup ( sold to us as pepper sauce) greasy and underwhelming. Chips are chips leave them as they are.All in all beautiful little bar with nice views and lovely outside, albeit cold, area. nice place for an afternoon pint.
Big screens for sports. Pool tables upstairs. Good food. Good selection of beer. Outdoor seating area. This place ticks all the boxes.
I had the slow cooked beef roast dinner and it was excellent. The only issue we had was the speed of the service. There were 3 people serving a busy restaurant when it really needed twice that.
Great venue for a family meal. Booking recommended. Great food and service. Park in the street or nearby car park.
