The Cosy Chair has a slight barrier to overcome for first timers as there are two doors but only one to enter. You also can't see inside so you don't know what to expect. It's well worth entering through the left door. It is small and cosy inside. I had a reasonably priced coffee and a heated cherry scone. I'd bumped into an old friend and it was the perfect place to catch up over a coffee without music blaring or other such distractions. Give me a like if you found this helpful.
Well named as lots of cosy chairs here. Scones and cakes are yummy - I love the pear and vanilla.
Perfectly named. The atmosphere is very relaxed, homely and of course, cosy. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The coffee is great, and the little chocolate bars are class (they are shaped like robots/sheep/owls/pigs etc). Beaut :)
Tables very close together, felt cramped. menu limited ie no sandwiches, rolls or salads.Though Does have plenty of buns/pastries etc. Does not accept cards. Soup whilst reasonably hot was quite watery like a cup a soup. Bread with soup was good. Had to ask for coffee that had been ordered at start this was quite a while after soup was Finished.
I love this place and have been a customer for many years. Everything is baked fresh on the premises each day. The decor is quaint and has a classic tea room/parlour feel. It is as stated 'Cosy'. The back of the building has beautiful views of Belfast Lough. To top all that off it is inexpensive costing around 3.50 for a pot of tea and scone/traybake
