Turbo went on our Citroen Grand Picasso, causing major problems. We took it to Citroen who quoted us an absolute fortune which we just wouldn't have been able to afford. Contacted Colin who explained he had a lot of experience with this issue and could sort it. We got the car delivered out to Colin and he got to work, had the car sorted in a few days, running better than before and for reasonable price. Very honest guy and will do best he can for you.

I have a jeep grand Cherokee it was holding back while accelerating , took it to Charles Hurst for diagnostic only to be told it was the Turbocharger that needed to be replaced for almost 1400 quid and that was a bargain bucket one if i wanted the original jeep it was over three grand just for the turbo never mind the labour .I had albeit a small amount of knowledge regarding turbos and new you dont need to replace them unless theres serious damage anyway spotted Colin Hagan on a Google search he refurbish my turbo Flushed the engine changed the oil and filter also fuel filter cleaned the EGR valve amongst other things, now the jeep is running smooth and am even getting better fuel economy, all for less than half the price that Charles Hurst where looking .Great job Colin many thanks

Well what can I say, If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing a major fix for a Mazda engine then I can assure you this is the guy to go for and you dont need to look any further. For myself I had a really unfortunate story with a 2014 Madzda 6 sport 2.2 diesel, to cut a long story short a 50p rivet snapped off my boost arm for the turbo and was sucked in through the turbo and drained my engine of oil and subsequently ruined my engine, con rods, big end gone ....and more. My warranty with Mazda was out and the claim thrown out (shocking really from Mazda but thats another review somewhere else!) and my fully comp insurance claim also dismissed, leaving a quote of 9,500 for a new engine from Mazda for a car worth not more than 10,500.From first initial contact Colin I felt relief at his obvious knowledge and experience with my problem and although my mechanical knowledge is not vast I knew he would be able to sort the issue to make it worthwhile keeping the car. I live in the far North highlands of Scotland and Colin took care of the delivery, return and complete refurb of my engine , taking it back to a complete car that drove as well as the day I bought it - and all within 5 weeks. He answered all my calls / emails and texts really quickly and kept me informed of all progress and costs. To place such a large amount of trust in a garage that was such a distance away initially felt like a risk but these fears were not necessary. I would wholeheartedly recommend Colin to give you an honest and fair diagnosis and for less than half of the cost Mazda quoted, gave me and my family our car back again.Well done to him for the excellent service and although time will tell if it will go the distance, I know I could go to him with any questions I have in the future if the arise. If your in a similar position that I was in , just take the step and make initial contact , you wont be disappointed. Thanks again for the great service and quality work.Anthony

An engine failure on a Mazda 6 2.2 diesel 2011 was not economical to repair by a Mazda dealer. After careful research I decided to contact Colin Hagan Autos . For a fixed price he arranged collection from the South of England, engine and turbo reconditioned -( and the clutch for the cost of the parts only) I collected the car as I wanted to combine with a visit to Belfast and Colin met me at the hotel with the car, but the car would normally be returned to you as part of price. If you have an engine failure on a Mazda 6 2.2 diesel then this was the only choice for me, as the turbo is likely to need reconditioning also. Colin knows the issues with the pre and post 2013 (SkyActive) Mazda 2.2 diesel models and will collect anywhere in the UK. My car is running again and has saved me writing off a very good car(apart from issues with the engine) Thank you.

Fantastic service and highly recommended. Another garage who shall remain nameless had my wifes BMW 320d for over a month following failure of the turbo and did not appear to be making much progress in repairing it. Fortunately someone recommended Colin and so I made a quick phone call to explain the predicament I was in. It was immediately clear that Colin is very knowledgeable in this area and our conversation reassured me that he would be able to get our car back on the road quickly. Colin assisted me in towing our car from the other garage and was able to have it repaired within a few days, it is now running perfectly, and all for less than the first garage quoted. I would have no hesitation in recommending Colin and would certainly use his services again, it was unfortunate that I did not know of him when the car first broke down.
